Hey Brian, I know you posted this video a couple of years ago.... but I bought one of these yesterday and am over the moon with it, it's fantastic. I just wandered what replacement strings you have to put on these, are they special shorter ones or can you put regular ones on and just cut them down? Thanks in advance.

I have one, a 370-12 . It's pretty damn good, certainly as good as any Jap (had a few, love em) and the finish is exquisite. Holds tune well. Only issue was the strings were strung in the standard pattern, not the Rick one. Easy fix.

I Have had a Rickenbacker and a Chickenbacker for over two years. Visually my Chickenbacker has no white trim but has the "John Lennon" self sketch on the pick guard. The differences in sound are subtle and the fret board is slightly darker. If you don't want to spend a fortune($4000) a chance on the" Chickenbacker" could be fun. There are a bunch of different Chinese brands though so sound and quality are hit and miss and you can't send them back!

Sweetwater quoted me a price of $3,500 for a new 325C64. At the end of the day, I want to know that I have a real Rick in my hands and on the guitar stand when I go to bed at night. Life is just too short not to have the Made in America real McCoy. That's what Lennon played, and that's what I want. Lennon could have any guitar he wanted, and he wanted a California original. I just need to improve a little more, so I won't dishonor his memory and his guitar when I play it.

Yesterday I couldn't considered to buy a replica but in the time as an Gibson & Fender user and having some expensive standard guitars of both trademark having finished details and fretboard not in rosewood and trouble playable noseing strings so and by this I choose one of that Chicken even though it'll be arriving on January I'm waiting to see what happens with it why not folks
